High blood pressure or Hypertension
Our health has become so bad because of all the unhealthy foods in our diet. We all know that fried food is bad for our health, but it tastes so good. You have to be careful of the sodium (salt) in your diet. In the fifties there was no cure for hypertension. You had a lot of fluid or retention of excess fluid in your body. Back then there was no treatment so you had to limit your sodium in your diet. We do need some sodium in our bodies. A lot of times the sodium is retained in your body. In the body has a lot of water retention which can increase the pressure in the circulatory system. Moreover, as the pressure goes up the kidneys and the heart will be affected. You have to drink a lot of water and eat the right food without sodium. However, to avoid strokes, heart problem, or kidney disease you have to learn how to control your blood pressure. You have to maintain a balanced diet with less sodium, drink a lot of water, exercise and avoid fried food. Your doctor may prescribed a water pill known as "Hydrochlorothiazide" to help you, but you will use the bathroom a lot. A long with this water pill you will also need a blood pressure pill.
